Prepping for Your Garage Door Service Appointment

We frequently have to reschedule service and installation appointments because we simply can't access the garage door structure. Since we will likely need to stand on a ladder to access door tracking, the opener, and other parts we will need plenty of space. Plus if we are installing a new door or replacing a broken panel, we will be doing so from the inside of the garage. It's important to ensure your garage is prepared as follows:

• Remove everything in the garage from wall to wall on both sides of the garage where the door is to be installed.
• Remove everything in the garage from the opening of the door back at least 10 feet.
• If there are shelves on the sides of the garage, we may need you to remove them or whatever might be on them.
• All of this needs to be completed prior to our arrival for the install.
• Failure to clean out your garage may result in installation delays.
