Garage Door Bracket Replacement
Garage Door Bracket Replacement in Virginia Beach
Brackets help hold your track in place so that your garage door can move smoothly along. They’re typically attached to the garage door tracks and the wall or ceiling of the garage using bolts and screws.
Over time, the brackets can become worn out, causing damage or even resulting in your garage door coming off the track.
If you’re having issues with your garage door brackets, we can help! At Precision, we install the highest-quality replacement brackets to keep your door working like new.
Center and End Bearing Brackets
The center bearing bracket connects the spring shaft to the garage door’s center bracket. It supports the garage door’s weight and helps distribute the load evenly, preventing the door from becoming unbalanced or coming off the tracks. The center bearing bracket is typically mounted on the ceiling or wall of the garage and made of metal.
The end bearing bracket is mounted on the bottom corners of the garage door. It holds the torsion spring, which helps to lift and lower the garage door. It also ensures the torsion spring is properly aligned and securely fastened to the garage door.
You may need your brackets replaced if:
- Your garage door isn’t opening or closing correctly
- Your garage door is off track
- The brackets are rusted or cracked
- The door is unusually noisy when operating
- There was a recent accident involving the garage door – the impact can cause damages that aren’t always obvious
Not sure your brackets are the problem? We can help! At Precision, our professional technicians perform a 25-point safety inspection to accurately diagnose your garage door issues.
Why Choose Precision?
Professional Precision technicians are trained to work with all garage door sizes, styles, and weights, and fix them using only the highest-quality replacement parts.
We Use

Precision uses a center bearing bracket that is made out of heavy-duty steel and comes assembled with a high-quality bearing.

Our end bearing plates bolt directly to the track and wall, giving them four connection points in order to prevent binding of the torsion system.
They Use

Other center bearing brackets are made out of lower-grade steel, causing them to flex and bend during use.

Others use end bearing brackets made of un-reinforced steel, and only have two points in which they are secured.
